McMaster University Becomes First Canadian Repository of the Visual History Archive
McMaster University has become the first Canadian repository of the USC Shoah Foundation Institute's Visual History Archive, providing access to its nearly 52,000 testimonies from Holocaust survivors and other witnesses. Located in Hamilton, Ontario, the university serves more than 21,000 undergraduate students and more than 3,000 graduate students.
McMaster University Librarian Jeffrey Trzeciak will host a reception to acknowledge this new partnership on November 3, 2011, at the McMaster University Student Centre. Special guest Branko Lustig, Academy Award®-winning producer of Schindler's List and one of the founding figures of the USC Shoah Foundation Institute, will attend the celebration.
