Anti-Defamation League, USC Shoah Foundation Institute Workshop for Teachers
November 4 program will include training on multimedia resources, presentation on Holocaust denial
On November 4 the USC Shoah Foundation Institute and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) will host a training workshop for high school and middle school educators at the Ronald Tutor Campus Center on the campus of the University of Southern California. The workshop, titled "A Multimedia Framework for Teaching the Holocaust," is the first in a series offered through the ADL's Holocaust Education Institute.
The workshop will include training on Echoes and Reflections–A Multimedia Curriculum on the Holocaust (developed in partnership with the Anti-Defamation League, the Institute, and Yad Vashem), and an introduction to IWitness, a new website with more than 1,000 searchable testimonies from the Institute's Visual History Archive. There will also be a presentation on Holocaust denial by Dr. Dan Leshem, USC Adjunct Assistant Professor, and the Institute's Associate Director of Academic Outreach and Research.
