Six Million Coins™ to aid Holocaust survivors Institute pledges support for fundraising initiative
USC Shoah Foundation – The Institute for Visual History and Education will support the Six Million Coins™ fundraising initiative, launched by Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries and the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles to provide for Holocaust survivors in need of basic necessities.
Through the distribution of specially designed Six Million Coins™ tzedakah (charity) boxes, Mount Sinai and the Jewish Federation will collect donations for six charities that assist Holocaust survivors. Publicity for the initiative will incorporate testimony from the Institute’s Visual History Archive.
All donations will be collected at the Yom HaShoah Memorial Service on Sunday, April 7, at Mount Sinai Simi Valley. Request your FREE Six Million Coins™ Tzedakah Box at sixmillioncoins.org or by calling 888-680-1628.
