In Honor of Giving Tuesday, Support USC Shoah Foundation
After Black Friday and Cyber Monday comes Giving Tuesday – a day devoted to donating to charities and nonprofits. Begin the holiday season by supporting the power of testimony and giving to USC Shoah Foundation.
Your donations help fund USC Shoah Foundation’s educational and research programs around the world. Here are just a few accomplishments the Institute achieved this year thanks to your support:
- Eight new sites with full access to the Visual History Archive launched at universities and museums around the world, including the Museum of History of Polish Jews, University of Toronto, Drexel University, and the University of Vienna.
- Over 17,000 students and nearly 5,100 teachers registered on IWitness.usc.edu, USC Shoah Foundation’s educational website that allows students to watch testimonies, as well as use them in multimedia activities with a built-in video editor.
- University of Southern California undergraduates embarked upon a two-week trip to Rwanda through the “Problems Without Passports” program to interview Rwandan Genocide survivors and conduct research on genocide prevention and remembrance.
Other funding opportunities include the International Conference, Rwanda Archive and Education Program, and Visual History Archive Program.
Gifts can be made in a variety of forms, such as cash donations, pledges, planned giving, tribute gifts, naming opportunities and corporate gifts.
